About Research and Innovations

Mallige College of Pharmacy is constantly involved in research activities at various levels. A wide range of research opportunities are available to both undergraduate and post graduate students. Our institute is generously encouraging student’s research, faculty research throughout the year. Undergraduate and Postgraduate students are given financial assistance to carry out short term and long term projects leading to publications in peer reviewed journals. Further students and faculty are given hands on training in various search engines for literature review, workshops on research methodology and patent filling from time to time. Students and faculties are encouraged to apply for various grants through apex bodies/ agencies. Our students and faculty are publishing papers periodically and contributing greatly to pharmaceutical sciences. We have research collaborations with many institutions and Universities across the country and students are encouraged for field visits to gain research exposure. We have received research grants from various agencies. We also engage in consultancy activities. We focus on attracting best researchers and academicians of national /international repute to impart knowledge and associate with us in many ways to enhance the employability of students.

Objectives

To promote research activities among students and faculty.

To monitor and coordinate the research Programs and promotion of research grants among students and faculty.
To conducts the research review meeting to examine the quality of research being conducted by staffs and students.
To expose the students to recent developments in the technology through innovative project works, quality publications and paper presentations.

Goal

To nurture research culture in the College by promoting research in newly emerging and challenging frontier areas of Pharmacy field.
To encourage the students and faculty to undertake the research in newly emerging frontier areas.

Conduct of skill development courses to enhance the capability of students and faculty

Turnitin software is used by the college to find plagiarism in research papers, thesis of the faculty and students.
